Blagovesta Vasilevna graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Art in Sofia, Bulgaria, as a Bachelor in Scenography in Drama and Puppet Theatre.

She has created puppets for numerous productions at the Zrenjanin Theatre, as well as at theatres throughout Serbia and the region. The meticulousness with which she approaches her work on puppets creates a magical world in which puppets become friends with whom one can share secrets. In the hi-tech era she believes that puppetry will not disappear but rather that it can be additionally advanced.
