andreja rondović

Andreja Rondović (Podgorica, Montenegro, 1994) is a master artist of scenic design. Her professional engagement as a scenographer, lighting designer and costume designer, began in January 2018 through theatre plays and short films. So far, she has worked on over twenty projects. Since her early days in college at Faculty of Technical Sciences in Serbia, she participated in multitude of programs. At the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space in 2015, she participated as a member of the technical team of the National and Student Performance Section of Serbia, which was awarded the Gold Medal for establishing dialogue PQ2015. She was also a participant in Shared space in Ultrecht, as well as in Bitef festival in 2017.
Finally, she exhibited student works in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina. In May 2019, she has a solo exhibition called Transformation, at the Shock Gallery in
Novi Sad, which is part of the accompanying program of Sterija’s theater. In the same period, she had an exhibition of works in the field of scenography at the 2019 Prague Quadrennial, for the National Exhibition of Serbia. Later, as part of a public competition supported by the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro, for the co-financing of activities in the field of cultural and artistic creativity, she worked on her artistic work “Living space because I am a theater” which was presented online, on social network platforms, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
She received an award for the scenography of the play “Nečista krv” (eng. “Bad Blood”) directed by Jug Đorđević, at the Šabac Spring festival in 2020 and an award for costume and scenography at the children’s festival “Majske igre” (eng. “May Games”) in Bečej in 2022 for the play “Kapetanica Džun Piplfox” (eng. Captain June Peoplefox) directed by Vukašinović.
