Selena Orb (D. Mihajlovic) was born in 1988. She graduated from the University of Applied Arts in Belgrade, Department of Costume Design, Atelier for Theatre Costume. Selena has completed a large number of costume and set designs for different productions in Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Croatia. She has also designed costumes for opera and drama productions in Cologne and Wiesbaden. Additional design credits include costume design for films. Besides working in design, she is engaged in different fields of visual arts which include collaborations with different artists such as composers, sculptors and photographers. She has participated in the National section of Serbia at the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space in 2015 and 2019. In 2017, she started working as a teaching assistant within the Studies of Scene Design at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, where she became an assistant professor in 2020. 

Selena received the Golden Arena in 2019, the most notable regional award for film costume design, and the Sterija award for the best theatrical costume design in 2020.
