SARA SLIVNIK

Sara Slivnik  graduated in architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Ljubljana with distinction after studying in San Sebastian and completing an internship in Helsinki, Finland. She gained practical experience by working as a technical producer for most of the productions at the SNT Drama Ljubljana during 2016 and 2019 while teaching at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Ljubljana at the same time. Several years of stage design assistance followed during which time she had a chance to work with Branko Hojnik, Meta Hočevar, Mateja Koležnik, Raimund Orfeo Voigt, Dragos Buhagiar, Sven Jonke-Numen and others. In summer 2019 she took part in the International Summer program at the Watermill center, curated and led by Robert Wilson. Sara Slivnik created stage spaces for, among others, Ivana Djilas, Tin Grabnar, Dorian Šilec Petek, Luka Marcen, Maša Pelko. She worked in various theater houses, including SNT Drama Ljubljana, SNT Nova Gorica, SNT Drama Ljubljana, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Ljubljana Puppet Theatre, Prešeren Theater Kranj, The Celje City Theatre, APT Novo Mesto.

Role in the Biennale 2022.
