Guided tour: Serbian National Theatre Workshops or How to Equip a Theatre Production (Vladimir Savić)

The professional tour of the workshops of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad will include visits to the carpentry, locksmith, upholstery and painting workshops. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the role of the workshops in the process of producing sets, methods of operation, specific techniques and crafts, as well as talk to the people who work there. The tour will also include demonstrations of certain techniques and processes related to the specific craft of each workshop. The aim of the tours is to meet the people who are part of the process of realization of theatre productions and to point out the importance of this part of the theatre’s technical department.
